Anything I can help with? I've been here for a bit.

aww thank you very much!! i guess just anything you'd tell a newbie :') i think i got the general upload system down but - i guess anything you wish you had known sooner

@alurune
Ok! So make sure you interact with the community a lot. The first few years I was here, I mostly kept to myself, and that really hurt my reach. Once I started talking on folks posts, reacting to more posts, and starting threads of my own, my fan count started to increase at a more steady rate. Also, like on most sites, posting fairly frequently helps. Even if you don't have media content to share, again, just talking on post will get you more seen. This next thing also helped me a lot. On certain pages of the site, and the bottom of the page, all the categories of the site are listed. In the category labeled "user", you can see user's new newsposts. Interact with those as much as you can, even if it's just reacts~ I've met a lot of cool people, and have even gained more followers that way. Don't bother with trolls. Like at all. But I guess that's true everywhere. :'D
Make a personal tag! And make the tag simular to your username. My personal tag is "ct" for instance. Use this tag on all your posts, and use it on every site you use! This makes you as a creator SO much more searchable, and it's easier to for folks to find your content, and makes you more likely to show up in a google search.
This is getting kinda chunky, so my last tip would be:
Make sure you post what you enjoy the most, keep up with it, and eventually your passion will pay off. I had wanted to do a collab with people on this site for years, but was too unsure about putting myself out there. But I finally went ah, what the heck? And tried it, and a whole bunch of people were down to, so don't doubt yourself. :)

Wow this is an incredibly structured and helpful answer! The part about tags is so true... now to pick what mine shall be. Sorry for the short reply but you honestly laid everything out so well I have no questions! Thank you so much for the help, this seems like a wonderful community

¡Bienvenida a Newgrounds! Just as the user above me said, you should interact with people all around the website. I recommend not looking forward to numbers for the moment (a lot of faves and votes) since it's not really helpful. You should also post some kind of trendy drawings (Pico Day is coming this saturday, so you might want to look for it) if you want to get more people to know you.

I already voted all your posted works, only a little more of them will make the art stay in the site. You should also vote for other people's work, if you want to increase your experience level and help other artists.
You got yourself a new follower, I will watch your career with great interest:)

Woah this is also super incredible advice! I've started drawing my piece for Pico Day thanks to this comment~

For the upvotes and follow~ that's so incredibly kind of you! I took a look at your gallery and DAMN your animation just blew me away! So a follow for a follow! Thank you so much again for all the support

@alurune
Yes, the tags help so much!
That's ok, I'm glad this was helpful to you, always love to help fellow
creatives when I can~
:)

@JuanHelsing @alurune Good to know! Maybe you can win a prize too, I am sure you will do great! And thanks again, I am improving everyday and that's what matters to me.
I will expect your Pico drawing this Sunday!
